The Job Placement & Cooperative Education Office is open to any individual or business that is seeking assistance in meeting their employment needs. We function like a personal employment agency and offer a variety of services.

Cash awards which do not have to be repaid. Scholarships are granted
for different reasons, including financial need, grade point average,
career goals, or residency. Several scholarships are available through
the Butte College Foundation.

Financial Aid
There are state and federal financial aid funds available to help eligible applicants meet educational costs.  The best time to apply for financial aid is during January preceding the academic year for which you are applying.  For example, apply in January 2011 for Fall 2011.  You must reapply for financial aid each academic year.

The BOGFW waives the student's per unit enrollment fees, and a portion of the transportation fee.
